Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the future of radio and television in light of digital transformation and the development of new media platforms by examining the technological, professional, and audience-related changes affecting traditional media, as well as the main challenges, opportunities, and future trends. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach based on a review of relevant literature and previous studies. The findings showed that digital transformation has brought significant changes to media production, broadcasting, and content consumption, while reshaping audience characteristics and listening and viewing patterns. The study also demonstrated that the future of radio and television does not depend on their disappearance, but rather on their ability to adapt to and integrate with the digital environment and move toward multi-platform content production and distribution.
