Editorial Board Biographies

Biography of the Chair of the Editorial Board

Prof. Faraj Almabrok Omar Amer

He holds a PhD in Educational Sciences and holds the academic rank of Professor. As Chair of the Editorial Board, he leads a team of professors with expertise in various fields of research within the humanities. He previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Faculties of Education at the University of Zawia, during which he published 25 issues. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Society for Educational and Human Sciences and Director of the Al-Andalus Foundation for Culture.

He has published numerous scholarly research papers and authored more than 17 books in educational, instructional, and cultural sciences, including Education in Libya, Steps in Writing Scientific Research, and The School Principal and School Administration, among other publications.

He teaches postgraduate students at the Libyan Academy and Libyan universities at both master's and doctoral levels. He also supervises doctoral dissertations and has previously served as Head of the Department of Educational Sciences at the Libyan Academy.

Biography of an Editorial Board Member

Prof. Azzouz Ketfi

He holds a PhD in Educational Administration and Management from the University of Batna. He has been teaching since 1987 and currently works as a Professor and Researcher in Educational Sciences at Mohamed Boudiaf University of M'Sila. His research interests include family psychology, educational psychology, and psychological and educational research techniques.

He has participated in national and international conferences in educational and psychological sciences in Algeria, Egypt, and Jordan. He has published several scholarly articles in Egypt and Algeria and has four books in preparation, including the following published and forthcoming works:

• Guide to General Scientific Culture for School Competitions.

• Psychological and Educational Research Techniques and Their Tools.

• Introduction to Differential Psychology and Factor Analysis.

• Educational Psychology: Theoretical Foundations and Field Practices.

• Introduction to Family Counselling: Theories and Techniques (forthcoming).

• Quality of Counselling Practice in the Family Context (forthcoming).

• Friday Sermons (a collection of lessons and mosque sermons in preparation).

He is also interested in curriculum development and evaluation. In 2014, he received the Innovation Medal from the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for his field research on a training programme for primary school principals.

He has participated in the training and professional development of primary school principals and supervised their graduation. He has served as Head of the Department of Psychology and as an elected faculty representative on the department's Scientific Committee.

He has also served as a reviewer and expert for several academic journals, including the Journal of Psychological and Educational Studies and the Journal of Social and Human Sciences. In addition, he is an Editorial Board Member of Al-Fath Journal of Psychological and Educational Studies.

His other academic roles and activities include:

• Expert and reviewer for the Journal of Psychological and Educational Studies, University of Ouargla, Algeria.

• Member of the Scientific Committee of the Journal of Social Sciences, Mohamed Boudiaf University of M'Sila, Algeria.

• Principal Investigator of a university research project at the University of M'Sila entitled "The Effectiveness of a Training Programme on Leadership Skills in Algerian School Administration" (2019–2022), in coordination with the Life Skills Laboratory.

• Principal Investigator of an academic research project approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, entitled "Developing a Family Counselling and Childcare Programme in Algeria", in collaboration with the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and Women's Affairs, and in coordination with the Laboratory of Anthropology and Social Problems.

• Head of a doctoral training team (Third Cycle, LMD system) in Educational Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of M'Sila.

• Head of the specialization team for the Master's programme in Counselling and Guidance.

Dr. Ali Abdelradi

He obtained his PhD in Philosophy from Ain Shams University, Egypt, in 2018. He works with the Ministry of Education in DLIS schools, which specialize in inclusive education for individuals with special needs. He also serves as a volunteer lecturer at the Middle East Studies Center of the American University in Cairo (AUC) and lectures at several Egyptian universities. He has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

He holds a PhD in Education/Applied Linguistics and holds the academic rank of Professor. He works as a translator at the Quality Assurance Center. He has previously served as Head of the Translation Department at the Libyan Academy in Janzour and Head of the English Language Department at the University of Zawia.

He holds a PhD in Educational Sciences, specializing in Educational Administration, and holds the academic rank of Assistant Professor. He teaches at Libyan universities and has collaborated with several universities and training centres.

He previously served as Head of the Quality Department at the Faculty of Education in Derna. He has authored more than five published books, including A Concise Guide to Scientific Research Methods and Differences Between Research Terms: Dates and Selected Terminology, among other publications.

Dr. Hossam Ali Al-Haj

He holds a PhD in Law from Paris Nanterre University, France (2017/2018). He joined the Faculty of Law at the University of Tripoli as a faculty member in the Department of Public Law.

He served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law in 2019 and chaired the committee responsible for overseeing the Faculty of Law's website in 2022. He has published numerous research papers in various peer-reviewed scientific journals.
